When our clients began planning their move from Utah to St. Louis to be closer to family, they didn't have to start from scratch. They'd recently completed the home building process out West and were able to translate some of their experience into the process as they opened a new chapter in the Midwest.
The opportunity to build on a quiet, gated cul-de-sac in Des Peres, MO offered them privacy and wooded views, but allowed them to remain close to family and easily access all of the sporting events and great restaurants they loved in the area.
Working with our team they designed their dream home with the right mix of open spaces for entertaining both indoors and out, and plenty of nooks where they could relax and enjoy the privacy and peace afforded by their quiet nook tucked away from the suburban bustle.
The home's design strikes a beautiful balance between traditional comfort and contemporary flair. Wide-plank wood flooring, a coffered ceiling, and a natural stone fireplace anchor the great room bring an air of comfortable elegance to the great room. While clean-lined cabinetry, bold lighting, and statement countertops introduce unexpected moments of glitz and glamour in the adjacent kitchen.
