Hibbs Custom Homes Warranty Program

Protecting Your Dream Home

You want your handcrafted home to last a lifetime - and so do we!

Beginning with a floor plan & design elements that reflect the way you live today and into tomorrow, our proven home building process centers on making your home more comfortable, durable, and healthier.

During the construction process, the materials and techniques we rely on are essential to building better homes that meet these goals.

But our dedication to quality doesn't stop there. We want to take the stress out of custom home ownership, which is why every home we build is protected by a warranty for craftsmanship, systems, and structure.

In addition to walk-throughs at closing and just before the one year anniversary, you can submit warranty requests online through our CO+ system. This is just another way we strive to make living in your dream home easy.

Hibbs Homes Custom Home Warranty Program

What Does My Warranty Cover?

One-Year Craftsmanship

The one-year craftsmanship warranty provides surety type coverage and backs the builder’s warranty for defects in workmanship and materials. Covered components of a home that do not meet established Construction Performance Standards in the warranty during the first year will be repaired, replaced or you may be reimbursed the cost of repair or replacement.

Two-Year Systems

The two-year systems warranty provides surety type coverage and backs the builder’s warranty for defects in the electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, ventilating, and mechanical systems. Covered components of a home that do not meet the established Construction Performance Standards in the warranty during the first two years will be repaired, replaced or you may be paid the cost of repair or replacement.

Ten-Year Structural

The ten-year structural warranty provides direct coverage from the day of closing for major structural defects. If a major structural defect occurs to a designated load bearing element of the home within the 10-year warranty term, it will be repaired, replaced, or paid for by Centricity.

Warranty Processes & Procedures

Pre-Closing Walkthrough Requests

Seven days before your move in date, the Superintendent on your project will conduct a walk through of your home. During this time we will look for any issues and submit service orders for those items. Our goal is to have these punchlist items completed before moving day. However, our trade partners will need to schedule these appointments when an adult over the age of 18 is present.

One-Year Craftsmanship Warranty Requests

Your warranty begins on move-in day. During that time, issues with craftsmanship and materials are covered. Items such as door panels, cabinets, tile work, and more that are exhibiting issues or defects are covered. Here's how to get them addressed:

  • Emergency Issues: In the event of an emergency (i.e. a water leak, heating & cooling issues, or other items that impact the habitability of the home) call or text your Superintendent directly.
  • Urgent Issues: For non-emergency issues, that need to be addressed immediately please contact your Superintendent during regular business hours.

Your Superintendent will communicate with the trade partners and vendors, and typically the issue will be addressed in 14-days. Appointments must be scheduled at a time when you or someone over the age of 18 can be present as Hibbs Homes cannot be present for these appointments. Afterwards, our team will verify the work is completed.
